Post Trial: Week 3
[ In the world of Nabari, it was kill or be killed. The fact that someone as young as Buddy had killed two people then, wasn't completely surprising. In a way, he was almost impressed.
...
Weeks ago, they had figured out that those sharing the vices of those involved would suffer side effects. This week, like last, wrath was affected. After trial Yoite disappears as he was apt to do, but this time with a goal in mind. Shortly thereafter he walks to Dhaos' room, two lemonades in hand.
Truthfully, Yoite had no idea what he was doing as he had never had a friend in his life. But there was something between the two that Yoite couldn't deny-- a simple, yet complicated bond. They were both ghosts, and they both seemed content in a type of mutual space.
He knocks, a "Good Evening" already on his lips.]

He knocks, a "Good Evening" already on his lips.]

The blond blinked blearily as he sat up in bed, and carefully walked towards the door, opening it once upon doing so. ]
Ah... Good evening. It is good to see you are well. Although, as you might guess, I am not feeling too well.
[ He moves to step aside, to allow the other in, while moving a hand to rub at his forehead. ]
no subject
How is it this time? [ He offers a lemonade as he asks-- regardless of what the effects were, lemonade had helped him many times in various situations.]
no subject
I suppose it is better than last time. Although, not quite something I have experienced before--it appears to be a 'fever'.
That said, this trial was... difficult, to say the least.
[ He takes the lemonade with a soft 'thank you'. ]</small

At the mention of the trial he tilts his head, and after a moment removes his hat. Yukimi had told him once that doing so was better for conversations and he wishes to be clear on this subject.]
People here are naive. Just because she's young doesn't mean she's incapable of killing.
no subject
[ Guess who doesn't know much about dealing with fevers-- him. So he doesn't actually get it. Perhaps Yoite was referring to it tasting better when it was warmer? ]
As for the others, it was likely not only that but in some cases them believing yes, she did indeed kill, however that they could not bear to execute a human child...especially when it seemed that there was another less 'troublesome' option instead.
...As for myself, I simply thought Morrigan to be bluffing, nothing more, nothing less.
no subject
They're soft, a lot of people are. They talk but when it comes down to it, the don't want to take action. [ He's seen it himself countless times.]
I didn't know either of them well, but Morrigan's behavior was strange. It doesn't matter to me if someone is an adult or a child.
no subject
Of course not. Hu-- people can be sentimental to a fault. That said, it should come to no surprise of my own if people here become more and more unwilling to follow logic. Instead, it appears they will follow whomever they like better over others.
[ At that, he cannot say it is just humans who follow this attitude, but if it should come across as a problem again... ]
...Then there is the fact two are already making sure that they are constantly with another, and that 'boy' is attempting to advocate for a buddy system.

Grouping just means more bodies and more accomplices. It won't stop anyone who's determined. [A beat.] It never stopped me before.
no subject
[ Well-versed in killing. Ugh, he hates all of this foolish violence, but it's not like there is anything they can do about it for now. ]
Knowing that boy, he will likely suggest the foolish system once more, however. Whether or not it will be followed, though, one face is for certain: people are likelier to stick with a certain group of people now more than ever. How long do you think before it becomes a convoluted mess in trials?
[ Even more the mess than it is usually. ]
no subject
What are you going to do if they force the policy?
no subject
[ They have so little freedom here, he'd like to see them try. He gives it a thought-- he supposes theoretically they could force it. ]
Perhaps if they wish to forcibly assign us minders I could always give them trouble, or we could pretend to 'enagage' in their system. Who is to say two people can't say they will 'buddy up' and not actually go to the extent as sleeping in each others' rooms?
They have no one to account for if anyone is being truly honest about this...hence why it is so faulty.
no subject
The bonded pair won't want to be apart, so I doubt they'll do that. I won't let them assign someone to me either way. [ That he's firm on.]
no subject
[ Pause. ]
If you so wish it, we could pretend to 'assign' ourselves to each other, and not actually adhere to the so-called guidelines.
[ Because loopholes?? And he values his privacy... plus when it comes down to it Dhaos is not a fan of confrontation even if he's going to have a few choice words if the idea is brought up again. ]
1/2
no subject
It's odd, because he's only had one partner before, and he was assigned to Yukimi. Choice wasn't something he was afforded in his life, so it's a confusing thing.
...but it's not bad.]
no subject
...That way, we do not need to worry about breaches of privacy or whatnot. Either way, we shall see come this week soon enough.
[ He's sipped the rest of the lemonade. ]
For now, though, I can simply thank you for coming by. With something like this I would have not slept well at any rate.
no subject
You're welcome. [ His lemonade was finished long ago-- he always ate and drank ravenously despite his thin frame. With that he stands up (having assumed his traditional sitting position on the floor prior) and puts his hat back on.]
Talking like this... isn't bad. [ The only people he had previously shared his opinion with before was Miharu, and sometimes Yukimi. But maybe talking with Dhaos wasn't so bad either.]
