Week 9 | Monday 10am
[ It's with a muddled mind that Yoite wakes up Monday morning, and it takes a while for him to stir. Despite how much he's slept he's still tired, and his head hurts. What happened last night was mostly a blur-- something about Satan and Lucifer, and he really can't be bothered to try to sort it out right now. The last thing he remembers is the death shocks and... He sits up abruptly with a start, looking for the man he's spent the past several weeks living with.]
Dhaos? Are you okay? [ Because it's the first thing he's worried about, because as far as he's concerned he's breathing and that's half the battle.]

I'm not sure if it means anything outside of that. [ A beat.] We use ciphers to communicate in plain sight if we need to. [ But it could just be nothing other than what it appeared to be.]

Lettland is the name of this country, and Lebensbaum is the town name of course.
Perhaps we could figure out where this house is. I believe I am going to bring it to the attention of some others if they can make more sense of the numbers. Or perhaps enlighten myself to another clue.
[ He is too unfamiliar with modern housing and their address markings. ]

...they might have information. [ He sighs.] I don't know what to think about the ghosts here. [ Old inhabitants of the village were one thing, but people whom they had arrived here with was disconcerting.]

[ He folds his arms in thought. ]
... So in this case, I will be counting on you to find Edita, if it is possible. It is likely she would know as well, at any rate, and any information is something that can be used to help propel us out of here.
[ ... ]
That said, I do not know what to think of these phantoms, either. Other than the fact that they're poor souls entrapped in a town in which they do not seem to acknowledge they may be dead. Or that is the feeling I get from them.
It is very possible that they must have died very suddenly, if this is so.
[ They could just be pretending to be alive, for all he knew, though. ]

They don't know, or at least Edita didn't. She was confused and thought I knew about the state the town was in. I don't think she was pretending.

[ He is still Bad at small - talk but he tries. As for the other thing: ]
Mm. I figured as much, regarding how you said Edita acted.

...where do you think information will get us? [ It's not that he's necessarily cynical, he just doesn't know how to approach this logically.]

[ Dhaos moves to place the paper in his cloaks again. ]
An answer to leaving here or perhaps a clue to exploit some kind of weakness our enemy does not want us to know about... in order to help defeat them.

It's the first clear orders he's had in a while, and that's a relief in itself. With that he stands up, pushing what happened last night in his mind aside.]
